What’s On God’s Bucket List for Your Life?

WHAT’S ON YOUR PERSONAL BUCKET LIST?

Rome. Florence. Verona. Our trip to Italy in 2014 (all alone with my husband) was fantastic! I felt 10701935_1481441995473914_486704820543164568_nlike I’d finally accomplished desire on my personal bucket list. As a couple, we’d not enjoyed more than two days alone to relax and connect without our son for almost 18 years. It renewed and refreshed us body, soul, & spirit.

As rewarding as it is to accomplish the items on my list: God reminded me that I need to spend as much (or more) time pursuing His bucket list for my life as I do my own. What a shame it would be to check off every item on my personal list and miss God’s more important list. There’s room for both – but God’s items need to be at the top! So, watch my short video and take my challenge!

A Challenge:  Pray and ask God to give you one or two items on HIS bucket list for your life today. Then, share those by posting below. It doesn’t need to be some huge assignment that will take years to accomplish. I’m guessing that He actually has one or two key things for us to pursue daily until his purposes are accomplished.

  1. God’s bucket list for me includes praying for those people who irritate me or that I have not necessarily been getting along with. Thanks for a fresh perspective.

  2. This really brought home to me the reality of what God’s list for me looks like compared to mine. The mountain I’d like to hike along side the mountain of healing that needs to take place in one of my relationships. The security of money saved compared to the joy of giving to others. Thank you for this word shared.
